The authorized officer may suspend such driver's license in accordance with Section 60 of the Act if he commits the following acts:-
(a) If a driver of a public vehicle carrying passengers conducts the transport in contravention of section 102 of the Act,
(b) if the driver of a passenger vehicle is carrying goods (other than a passenger's luggage) and if the goods vehicle is carrying passengers,
(c) If the driver of the tourist vehicle carries passengers other than tourists,
(d) if a private vehicle is used for transport services contrary to sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Act,
(e) If the driver of a public vehicle drives a vehicle on a road without a road license according to section 75 of the Act,
(f) If the driver uses a mobile phone while driving,
(g) If the driver drives the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
